You shouldn’t have gotten into this lunacy to begin with but anyway…

About three or four hours since I predicted (on Sun. Aug. 13, 2023, see earlier post) that this “cage” fight wouldn’t happen and that Mr. Musk was dangling this carrot to get your undivided attention to salvage his X and to raise money, this news broke that Mr. Zuckerberg is “moving on” since Musk isn’t serious about the “cage fight” that Mr. Zuck was seriously training for very publicly recently.  Well, both should seriously move on from this kind of school yard lunacy. 

Keeping score of my predictions:

1. I said that Threads will not fly despite what the pundits were saying since it launched – True thus far.  

2. The cage fight would not happen – True

3. The logos of both “Threads” and the rebranded “X” are seriously dope – I said this even before Threads was about to launch and I also made fun of the X look or name or whatever.  True, right? 

So, the scoreboard looks like this thus far: 3-0. 

Despite all that the new CEO of X is saying that the company is breaking even lately, the cuckoo part of X remains and is a serious distraction and hindrance to fuel growth.  By any objective standards of measurement, Mr. Musk’s changes have not seriously benefitted X (Twitter).  In fact, this side show is a drag on Tesla though Mr. Musk keeps trying everyday to normalize the cuckoo part on X.  What he should recognize is that “X” really represents nothing and really opposite to “everything” as he keeps wishing it can happen.  

The price of going cuckoo is that you will not grow.  It’s a business rule.  Will you hire people who are cuckoo?  No, right?  Then apply the same rule or principle to your X business. There’s really no exception to this fundamental rule of success.
